Hello ladies and gents! It has been a while since I last posted. I was originally using this blog for my College video projects, but I decided that I'll keep it as my occasional blog, especially as it has some history to it. Not a great deal has happened in the near 5 weeks since I broke up from college, well not production wise. I have spent most of my free time working, to try and build some cash up for university which I guess is a good thing, but I've only worked on one small video project so far, although I did buy a brand new camcorder a few weeks ago. A sony hard disk camera which will come in handy for uni, so I won't have to keep rinsing through my tape stock.
The video project I've worked on was camera work for the Ansty Music Festival 2008. Nothing big and fancy, but it was nice to try out my new camera. Me and Chris Philpot finally swapped tapes today, so I started editing some of it. Just reminded me how frustrating lip-synching is -_-
Anyhow, I signed up to veoh.com to try and broaden my video broadcasting area on the interweb, and it's looking promising to upload my back catalogue of videos and recently re-mastered and edited challenge videos. Will be nice to have somewhere other than Gametrailers.com that I can get a decent video quality for from Youtube's crappy scaling down. However, viewers have to be members on Veoh to watch more than 5 minutes. Not a major problem, but just something to be aware of in future.
Anyhow, I want to start watching the Bourne trilogy for the first time - I have Identity sitting right next to me, so let's see if I can be converted to the popular thriller/action series. TTFN
