Shooting finished!

After 2 days of very labourious shooting, Luke and the crew have finished shooting About Sixteen! We had some very good luck with the shoot (despite the terrible weather) and in all, has been an experience that I think everyone involved has learned from.

Saturday was a very long and stressful day. This is the first film that I have directed professional actors (let alone 3 of them) so from the start, I had a lot of pressure on my shoulders to get things right. Luckily for me, the near 4 months of writing and preparation paid off and the whole shoot managed to flow near flawlessly from start to finish. Was really impressed with Dean and Lewes' performances, the film is looking far more convincing with actors that know exactly what to do and how to get into the mind frame of the character.

We have 2 hours of footage and I'm now just waiting on the expresscard for my laptop to arrive so I can begin editing! Stay tuned to see how it comes out. This is by far, going to be my best yet!
