Once again, it's been another hectic week so I haven't really had time to update this, but I shall now inform you on what's been going on =]
First off, I have now started editing my final movie. This week, I finished doing a storyboard for my movie (about 30 frames) managed to capture some film footage which ended up being much harder than expected due to Copy protection and I also filmed an introduction to my movie which I think looks pretty decent. I had made about 4 minutes of Video footage but after asking Dan if I could have my film a few minutes over the allocated 5 minutes required, I've had to remove lots of footage. I had to completely remove the 'what is horror' section (I guess it is pretty obvious for most people) and had to remove a lot of footage from the early parts of the Horror Timeline. Atleast I have it all scripted up in my book anyways so that's fine.
I also scripted up my narration this week, recorded it and am now placing it into the film itself. I've just started the main section of my movie - why is Horror scary? I'm upto 2 mins and 47 seconds so far which is about half way, so hopefully I should manage to squeeze everything else in without having to remove some more parts. I'm also currently doing my credits screen which is taking an age, just so all the images, videos and audio I used is stated that I don't own it (even though a lot of audio, video and images are created by myself for this film).
Anyways, I'm hoping that I'll get enough time on Tuesday and Weds in College to get my Movie finished as I won't have time tomorrow as I start my new job at Blockbuster video (which is pretty relevant) and I have to show the film to the class on Friday! Let's pray they don't fall asleep...
For now, I shall try to get my credits finished and then go and watch the Exorcism of Emily Rose =]
Turrah!

Great post Luke,
Its good to see that you are busy editing away and really thinking about how the content of your research can be edited down to fulfill the original project brief.
Your blog looks good and the movie clips that I saw today are also very promising. I look forward to seeing the finished piece on friday. Well done.
Dan
