So yes, it only took 2 days but all the filming and photography for my film is now finished! What a 2 days it's been, and it's been amazing to get so up close and personal with the people that I've been filming from all these different companines, and I hope it will show how dedicated I have been with trying to get this video as good as possible. I started capturing the video footage yesterday but I've been having some trouble with working out the best method of getting the footage onto my computer. I first tried putting it onto a DVD and ripping that straight, but when I converted the file to something I could edit, the video and audio were out of sync and I really need them to be perfect. I then tried ripping the DVD into Cyberlink power director which actually kept the aspect ratio in 16:9 as I wanted, but the actual video was all jittery and just not practical so that plan went out the window. I next tried capturing the video from the camera in Power director, and it still went all jittery and my last plan now has been capturing it in Windows Movie Maker. The quality is great, but the video aspect comes out squished in 4:3 (as it was recorded in 16:9) but when I put it in Cyberlink Power Director, it should convert it back to 16:9.
So even though all that's left with the actual video is editing, I still have to do all the draught storyboarding and then the digital storyboard, my film and game logs, my powerpoint presentation and then present everything into my dossier. So I'm getting closer to the finish line, but there's still a fair bit left to achieve.
