Well, it seems like quite a jump since my last post. I finished writing my story, I've got all my actors, props and location sorted and I'm beginning filming in a few hours! My film is based around 4 teenagers that venture out to the woods to sketch for an art project, and eventually find themselves chased by a mysterious stalker. The player has the choice upon what actions to choose such as hiding, running, attacking and whether to save your friends. It took me about a week of intensive writing to get my script finished (the final piece is 34 pages) and so far I've spent around £50 in props, food, travel, etc. We're going to spend a maximum of 3 evenings filiming this week (Thurs, Fri, Sun) if everything goes to plan. I finished making my mask, I used pieces from 3 different masks I found (Spartan, Viking and Knight) and took parts of them, spray painted them and glued them together. It doesn't look amazing, but I think it'll do the job with face paints and the costume I have for the stalker.
One of the main issues we will need to tackle tonight, is the weather as it's 22c outside but apparantly it's going to rain tomorrow. This could be a big issue due to the continuinity of the film between each day, but we'll have to work with what we get. Fingers crossed that everything goes to plan, but for now I'd best start memorising my script!
