Save Yourself Upload

Right, well a lot has happened recently. I finished 'Save Yourself' about a week and a half ago, and had a premier with all the Crew and Cast last Sunday to watch it back. It was pretty well received and played well. I did some beta testing at College last week, and it's worked fine for everyone, so I made a trailer advertising the project's release onto the web on the 6th June (06.06.08). I thought it was an appropriate date due to the 66 and it being a horror film and it's also the 3rd year anniversary since I started one of my main projects, REchallenger. Unfortunately, the film didn't get released on the 6th as I had problems getting it uploaded. Because it's interactive, I can't put it on Youtube or anything, so it's up for download. The entire package is 675mb but it contains the film, extras, interviews, etc... It was uploaded on the 7th, but expired after 10 downloads... So I've tried about 8 websites since, and each one seems to time out when the upload gets about half way. This is ridiculously frustrating as that's 350mb uploaded to no avail. But I finally got it sorted this evening and the download will be available 24/7 for 2 weeks, so I think that's more than enough time for people to try it out.

In other news, the deadline for ALL 3 projects is this friday. The film is finished which is good, but I've still got to do all the sketchbook work, so I've been working on that over the past few evenings and hopefully should be finished tomorrow. The sound unit I am not too sure upon as I haven't seen Thom or Aaron for a while, but hopefully we can get the practical side of the project finished tomorrow, and then I can try and blitz through the sketchbook. The 3D environments project... I have not started yet. No joke. I've not even opened up 3D Studio Max in the past year. I think it's ridiculous that we have this project piled on top of the other 2, the Final Major Project should be more than enough, let alone these 2. So I'm going to have to try and compile an 8 week unit into the next 3 days... This could be interesting.

But either way, enjoy the trailer for Save Yourself!
