Tomorrow night is officially when I can say I'm totally finished with About Sixteen! Started the project back in July (over 6 months ago!) and tomorrow I'm screening the final edit to most of those involved in the production. Looking forward to hearing what everyone says and hoping that it meets the expectations from the very gifted acting talent we had on board. Expect to see some photos up soon.
Now that's complete, I've started my new project - a 10 minute documentary called 'A Greener Brum'. Similar to my 2008 documentary - 'Sustainable', this documentary aims to look at to the current situation of the un-motivated citys recycling rate and reasons behind the lack of green schemes. The project was chosen for production from the university (so this isn't a personal project of mine like About Sixteen and Blood Money). Hopefully the film will be shot on one of the HD Panasonic cameras we have. I have the confirmed role of Producer whilst the Directing role has been set seperately to another person on the team which will take a massive weight of the project off my shoulders.
I did all the research and have the interviews pretty much confirmed, so it will be interesting to see another persons visual style of a film that I essentially wrote. Have 3 members of crew on board too, so things are starting to feel a lot more professional.
Shooting starts in mid Feb.
