After a nightmare of a night, panicking my guts out about how the production was going to flow, the first day of shooting has gone down swimmingly well. Had to re-cast our lead role in the space of about 10 hours before shooting time and would you guess what? It's turned out to be one of the best decisions made for the production so far.
We filmed the apartment scenes today which were shot in my house. Spent hours moving things out and actually creating a set. Used some fantastic equipment today including a jib, track and dolly and follow focus.
Got a good feeling with this production. Been interesting to work under someone elses direction and we've been taking time to perfect things. Day 2 begins in 9 hours, time to catch up on some z's.
