Zombie film

Can't believe this is my first blog about this, but I have been so busy over the past few months that I've really just had no time for it!

Anyhow, after weeks of planning and test shots, we filmed a zombie short this weekend. Had over 20 zombies and 3 makeup artists on board. Shot on the HVX200 so it's crystal clear HD and had shot in some really creepy woods. The shooting is finished after a consecutive 9 hour and 12 hour shoot and planning to start the edit tonight. This has probably been the most promising project I've worked on and the fact that I produced and co-directed it really makes me feel that all of this work at uni and investment of my own time is paying off.

Used some pretty cool special effects such as an air compressor for bullet shots and even managed to get a generator so we could light outside (which was a first for me). Got some cool driving action scenes and the combat looks awesome. The video should be up this weekend if I edit my arse off as the final thing will only be around 5 - 7 mins in length.

I just really hope this pays off!
