Start of Spring Update

After what has felt like an endless Winter depression, the Sun is finally out and it's starting to get warm! It's quite ironic that I type this whilst sitting inside an empty house...

The past month has felt pretty damn hollow. Not a great deal has really happened since we finished shooting the documentary, we've been trying to get it edited but our editor hasn't commited as much time as the group would like so I've had to spend quite a bit of my own time working on it. Suppose it's given me something to do, since we've handed in our last assignment until May it's actually been pretty boring at uni. No-one's really got much money and nothing's really been going on. Heading back home for Easter in 6 days though and I can't wait!

Can't believe it's nearly been a year since we filmed Blood Money, just another demonstration of how time is slipping out of my hands at the moment. I've decided to postpone my planned trip to Hollywood until next year and I'm hopefully going with a guy on my course from uni, we both said we wanna have a tour around some of the US states including New York, Vegas and California. I'm gonna try and get a job at uni next year and start putting some money aside for it, it's something I've wanted to do since I was a kid. Another way in is Camp America where you get a return flight paid for you in exchange for working in a Summer camp. I think this would be even more of an experience, but I think that the duration and commitment of it would be something I really need to consider. It also depends if anyone else would be doing it too really.

I recorded a Resident Evil 5 rant with ThatEnglishDude (my friend Jack who used to live in the UK, but now lives in Virginia) as I never actually got around to making my own Resident Evil 5 review. The rant was pretty funny and we actually spoke for about 50 minutes so I may do another one in the future. Stay tuned to my Youtube as it'll be uploaded soon.

Apart from that, no real new progressions with films, running out of inspiration at the moment. I have a story that I wrote for my screenwriting project that I would love to film this Summer but I need to chop it down as I think I was a bit ambitious with things like fights on public transport. I'll wait and see what my tutor says first, me thinks.
