Turner

New horror/thriller project started entitled Turner to be directed by John MacPherson who did a great job with the role of Roman Sierski in our recent short Finding Flynn. I've been brought on as the DOP/co-producer of the multi-camera, 30 minute short which will be including my 550D.

Over the past 2 weeks we've been getting pre-production ready, the cast is pretty much confirmed and after today, so are the locations which I have to say are a step up from previous projects. We had some issues with finding an area for a scene in the film where one of the characters is tortured in a derelict warehouse but with some convincing set dressing and low-key lighting, we may be able to get away with using an old theatre practice room which we have access to.

We managed to secure a great location for the hospital scene. We went for a hospital training area in the end which means we can go undisturbed during the shoot with no need to disrupt patients and all the other complications involved with shooting in a real hospital. The areas are huge too with plenty of space for some great dolly and jib shots.

Shooting begins next Monday, back to back over 6 days which will be tough but will be a great experience with everything we have on board. Watch this space.
